The move of the provincial government to take over the management of the Chocolate Hills complex gained grounds even as lawmakers of the province and the Carmen municipal government discussed on the 1993 memorandum of agreement (MOA) with some proposed amendments.

 Uy assails corporate malpractice at BWSI
Businessman Mariano Uy intensifies his campaign for reforms at the Bohol Wisdom School Inc. (BWSI) alleging "there is a rampant misuse of corporate funds" by its board of trustees (BOT).

According to Uy, he possess evidence that BWSI funds amounting to millions were deposited in different personal accounts of some BOT members' personal accounts including that of their non-member spouses contrary to corporate policy.

BWS math wizard wins in China tilt
Carlo Timothy Racho, Grade 6 student of Bohol Wisdom School made it again in an international contest, this time in the 2006 China Primary School Mathematics Olympiad in Shandong, China held Aug. 8-13.

He won a bronze in problem solving and another bronze in rapid computation. Some of his teammates also garnered medals in other individual events and the team Philippines won a gold in the group events.
