elections in May next year amid reports that the administration solons will soon
pass a legislation putting off the political exercise for local and national officials.

Public storm warning signal number 1 was raised over some provinces in Luzon's
eastern seaboard yesterday as Tropical Storm "Neneng" (international
codename: Bebinca) maintained its strength and continued moving in the general
direction of Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said.
