JI bomb training manuals seized

ZAMBOANGA CITY. A military official disclosed that Marines pursuing Abu Sayyaf bandits in Patikul, Sulu have recovered documents and computer disks containing alleged instructions on the use of explosives that were apparently left behind by two fugitive Indonesian terrorists hiding in Mindanao.

Maj. Gen. Eugenio Cedo, chief of the Western Mindanao Command (Wesminco), confirmed that four compact disks (CDs) and training manuals on the use of bombs and demolition were recovered by soldiers at Luba Hill in Barangay Tugas, Patikul.
