the New Growth Area where the modern multi-million sports and convention center
and Central Park will rise is being questioned by the Geodetic Engineers of the
Philippines Inc. (GEPI)-Bohol due to the absence of a feasibility study.

REACHING PROMOTION. Some 198 delegates and staff of the ASEAN Inter-Parliementary
Organization composed of foreign dignitaries from 10 ASEAN and 12 non-ASEAN member
countries vow to promote Bohol as a "must" destination in the Philippines.
The group was hosted a day-tour last Wednesday winding at cocktails at Bohol Beach
Club. Gov. Erico Aumentado and Rep. Edgar Chatto, delegate-member welcomed the

Makati
mayor's security killed
MAKATI
CITY. AN official whom Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay described as his chief security
officer and friend of 15 years was shot and killed at a gasoline station in Fort
Bonifacio, Taguig, early Saturday morning.
Binay
claimed that the killing, which also took the life of a security guard and injured
three others, was part of a plot to assassinate him.
