The
Postal Bank or Philippine Postal Savings Bank (PPSB)
has opened its doors for Boholano clientele following
the inauguration on July 27, 2007 of its 22nd branch
in the city.
It
is a thrift bank and a government financial institution
that offers financial assistance program such as loans
on car, housing, educational and salary.

It
also offers financial assistance to local government units,
and extends assistance to barangay through micro-finance program
and small and medium enterprises loan.

Postal
Bank also caters deposit products such as regular savings
account with a minimu deposit of P500; checking account
with initial deposit of P5,000; time deposit with minimum
amount of P1,000; premium savings plan with a minimum
deposit of P10,000, premium earner account and safety
deposit facilities for a minimum rental of P200, P300
and P400.
Bank
top guns in the persons of its board chair Nicolas P.
Lapeña and president Rolando L. Macasaet led
the inauguration ceremonies with Gov. Erico Aumentado
as guest.

Visayas area chief Miranda G. Varon also graced the inauguration
and blessing of the branch office manned by able and competent
