City Central grand slam in showdown
By CORAZON CORDOVA

The Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School, the show window of Tagbilaran City Schools Division, did it again as it emerged champion in this year's Alturas Drum and Bugle Corps Showdown.

Being true to its name, the school bested four other contingents in Category C from the different towns of Bohol.

It was a grand slam finish as the feat is its third consecutive victory in the same category for three straight years. It also garnered four major awards of the competition being adjudged as best in Choreography, Best in Rhythm and Dynamics, Best in Instrumentation, and Best in Production Design.

This dynamic school is ably headed by Basilides M. Sempron and Norma J. Alaba in the regular curriculum and Rhodora I. Tadena in the SPED.
