Palace appoints
seven new judges
 
 

MANILA. Malacañang appointed seven new judges for Municipal Circuit Trial Courts (MCTC) in the province of Bohol.

Deputy Executive Secretary Jake Lagonera said the official appointment papers of the new judges will be released today to fill up seven vacancies in Bohol. There are 12 MCTCs which remain vacant until today.

The newly appointed judges are Judge Lilibeth Varquez, 3rd MCTC (Inabanga-Buenavista); Judge Azcucena Credo, 5th MCTC (Trinidad-San Miguel-Bien Unido); Judge Jorge Uba, 7th MCTC (Alicia-Mabini); Judge Ciriaco Bautista, 8th MCTC (Candijay-Anda); Judge Perpetou Magallano, 9th MCTC (Guindulman-Duero); Judge Oliva Mende, 15th MCTC (Bilar-Sevilla) and Judge Samuel Biliran. 16th MCTC (Carmen-Batuan).

The seven new judges got the endorsement of Gov. Erico Aumentado.

Two other appointment papers are slated for release this week, the governor said.
