Malacañang released last Tuesday the appointments of seven new judges to be assigned to the vacant Municipal Circuit Trial Courts in the province.

With the appointment of the seven new judges, there are still five remaining MCTCs which await the appointment of judges.

The newly appointed judges are Laebeth L. Varquez of 3rd MCTC-Inabanga, Azcucena C. Macalolot-Credo, 5th MCTC-Trinidad; Jorge T. Uba, 7th MCTC-Alicia; Ciriaco Z. Bautista, 8th MCTC-Candijay; Perpetou C. Magallano, Jr., 9th MCTC-Guindulman; Olivia Migrino Mende, 15th MCTC-Bilar and Samuel A. Biliran, 16th MCTC-Carmen.

The appointments of these new judged received the endorsement of Gov. Erico Aumentado.

It was learned that among those awaiting their appointments are a former city official and a government lawyer who is a radio commentator at the same time.
