Turning
47 years on February 1, Mrs. Cecilia G. Dupalco of Cayam, Garcia-Hernandez, Bohol,
expresses profound gratitude to the Almighty God for the biggest blessing of her
life after she won P1 million in the grand draw of Alturas, Plaza Marcela, and
Island City Mall "Instant Milyonaryo, Cash Papremyo" Raffle Promo, held
at the Island City Mall Activity Center last December 31.
A teacher of
Science, English and Hekasi at Garcia-Hernandez Central Elementary School, the
instant millionaire recalled one instance last year when she shopped at Alturas
Supermarket and kept all her |
raffle
stubs inside a Bible. She did not expect that her name was picked up as the new
instant millionaire in the draw last week. Her winning ticket number is 516625.
A distant
relative and kumare of Vice-Mayor Miguelito Galendez of Garcia-Hernandez, Mrs.
Dupalco said that her P1 million purse will be used to improve their house, finance
the education of her two children, and allocate a big amount for the renovation
of St. John the Baptist parish convent in Garcia-Hernandez.
Mrs.
Dupalco is married to Mr. Pedro C. Dupalco, a farmer of Biabas, Ubay, Bohol. The
couple has two children - Raymond, a 19-year old student of the University of
Bohol; and Mary Tricia, an 8-year old Grade 2 pupil of Garcia-Hernandez Central
Elementary School.
Five
other lucky winners also received P50,000 each: Jonas B. Pandan, Manga Dist.,
