WOMEN EMPOWERMENT. Charter members of Zonta International - Bohol led by its charter president, Dr. Victoria Tan Camacho (seated sixth from right) together with club members from other chapters in the country.

Dr. Victoria Tan Camacho was inducted charter president of Zonta Club of Bohol during the club's charter presentation and inaugural dinner at the Bohol Plaza last night.
She, together with the other charter officers was inducted by Oliva V. Ferry, president of Zonta International.

Other officers inducted were Enriquieta Borja Butalid, vice president; Rosalina Rara Sarabosing, secretary; Aoracion Pinat Penales, treasurer and Inocenta Hontanosas Cabagnot, asst treasurer.

Board of directors are Estelita Gonzaga-Ocampo and Marietta Gomez Udtohan.
Committee chair are Ma. Fe Camacho-Lejos, committee on the United Nations; Atty. Sylvia Varquez-Adame, women and girls; Violeta Clarin-Abasolo, public relations and communication and Gemma Proscianos Abacar, finance.

   

District Gov. 17 Victoria Virgel de Dios welcomed the new club and inducted the members.

Natividad Young, president of Club of Cebu 2 introduced Ferry, the Zonta Club International president who was the guest speaker.

Ferry also presented the charter and gavel.

Filna Espina installed the charter officers and board.

Dr. Camacho as charter president delivered her response.
