New Zealand government has cut-off its counterpart
fund releases for one of Bohol's major eco-tourism
projects, the Rajah Sikatuna Protected Landscape
(RSPL), after it found "questionable use
of funds and implementation methods" by the
Department of Environment and Natural Resources
(DENR).

been released for the purchase of lots for the Panglao
Bohol International Airport (PBIA).
The
fund release was likewise confirmed by the Project Management

confirms transfer to ChEd

Planning Secretary Romulo Neri yesterday confirmed that
he was being temporarily moved to the Commission on
Higher Education (ChEd).
"Yes,
that's true," Neri said when asked to confirm reports.
Asked
why he was assigned to ChEd instead of the Bureau of
Internal Revenue or the Department of Budget and Management,
Neri replied that that he was also an educator and had
been teaching since 1970.
