SANDUGO 2007. The Steering Committee
meets at the City Mayor's Conference Room to plan for
the Sandugo Festival scheduled in July. With BSFI (Bohol

The
Bohol Sandugo Foundation, Inc. (BSFI), chaired by City
Mayor Dan Neri Lim, has tapped seasoned personalities
to head the major activities primed for this year's
Sandugo Festival in July.
Loreto
M. Palapos, who has been with the foundation since its
inception, is still designated the executive director.
Comprising
the Streetdancing Committee is City Schools Division
Superintendent Dr. Elpidio M. Jala as chairman, Baclayon
Councilor-elect Carmen Gatal as Co-Chairman and Cogon
Elementary School Principal Joseph Barrete as Deputy
Chairman.

The
monthlong nightly presentation at the Tourist Port, commencing
with the City Charter Day Celebration on July 1, is tasked
to Albert Yap, Executive Assistant of the City Mayor, and
Rocky Jimenez, City Heath Nurse.

In
charge of the Sandugo Product Showcase slated at Island
City Mall, which, this year is national in scope, is
DTI Provincial Caretaker Ma. Elena Arbon.
Mariano
Uy, Proprietor/Manager of Miravilla Resort, chairs the
Trade-Food-Agri Fair at the Tourist Port.
Directing
the vaunted dance-drama Reenactment of the Blood Compact
is Mr. Lutgardo Labad, head of the Bohol Arts and Cultural
Heritage (BACH) Council.
Engr.
Pianicita Castolo, Engr. Nathaniel Juit, and Engr. Teodoro
Estoque of the City Engineer's Office and Engr. Rosalinda
Yu of the Prov'l GSO take charge of the physical arrangement
and decoration.

Governor Erico Aumenatado who co-chairs BSFI, is Enriqueta
Butalid of the Prov'l Center for the Culture and the Arts
Development (CCAD).
