Montano running for governor?

 

Movie actor/director Cesar Montano, one of the Team Unity's senatoriables is reportedly planning to slide down as a gubernatorial bet in the province to run against incumbent Gov. Erico Aumentado.

Montano is a registered voter of Baclayon town, his hometown.

This report surfaced after Montano was not visible in all the activities of the Team Unity during the two-day visit here of the administration's senatorial bets last weekend.

It should definitely be a "must-see" for all students. Municipalities or barangays must show this to their constituents for free and Government must show this to all its employees. Every home must watch this with parents and children together. Private corporations must produce copies of this documentary-CD and give them away as gifts.

Over 1,000 seized
violating gun ban

MANILA- Seventeen people have been killed while more than 1,000 have been arrested in a Philippine crackdown against illegal firearms in an effort to curb violence in the May 14 elections, police said yesterday.

The 150-day ban was imposed from January 14 by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and prevents anyone outside of police and military personnel on duty from carrying licensed firearms.
