BRIDAL
FASHION SHOW AT ISLAND CITY MALL. Models of Models
Unlimited don the latest wedding gown creations in a bridal
fashion show held last Sunday, May 26, at the Island City
Mall Activity Center. The fashion show is part of the
grand launching of the on-going Bridal Fair at the Island
City Mall which will run until May 27, highlighted by

Island
City Mall pays tribute to all mothers with perks and privileges,
and lots of fun and surprises through its "Mother's Day"
Specials at the mall tomorrow, May 13.
At
4:00 o' clock at the Activity Center is the "Tribute
to Mama," a special treat for all mama's with songs and
dances, games, fun and surprises. The Five Star band will
perform in the opening part of the program to add glitter
to the momentous occasion.
At
Chowking, one can treat mama to a sumptuous meals with "Salo-Salo"
set which has
discounts on selected menus.
For
moviegoers, Screenville Cinema offers free regular softdrinks
to all mothers who will watch any of the blockbuster movies
now showing at the four cinemas. Just present the movie ticket
at the snack bar of Screenville.

Greenwich
will also conduct pizza-making camp for mothers where
they can experience actual pizza flavoring, join kitchen
tour, and acquire basic tips in the making of pizza.
Participants
need to register for the pizza-making camp at Greenwich
which will provide snacks, aprons, and certificates.
At
the World of Fun, it's "Mother's Day Out"
where mama can get a Mother's Day special balloon for
every purchase of 20 tokens. David's Salon also offers
free haircut for every intensive treatment for mothers.

Alturas
PR/Marketing manager, Loy M. Palapos, said it is a special
day when we celebrate mothers, a perfect time to let them
know how much we appreciate their presence in our lives. He
added that mothers are a blessing to everyone who gives life,
nurture and, regardless of our many flaws and shortcomings,
continuously showers us with unconditional love.
The
observance of "Mother's Day" every second Sunday
of May was first started by US President Woodrow Wilson who
made the official announcement in 1914.
