Who
has a heart that cares for the least of her sisters and brothers?
There seems to be no appropriate answer to this question but
one might find an answer while watching Santacruzan 2007.
For
many the Santacruzan is just a simple parade of beautiful
ladies in equally beautiful and elegant gowns. Many, however,
fail to realize that the beautiful sagalas and angels joining
the Santacruzan are also rendering a little sacrifice as they
walk along the main streets of the City of Tagbilaran for
a very noble cause. Some of them might end up with soiled
gowns and blistered feet but the desire to finish the Christian
walk is always there. People are, therefore, encourage to
go out and watch Santacruzan 2007 and see for themselves the
beautiful ladies with big hearts that sympathize the least
of their brethren.
The
activity which is made possible through the Rotary Club of
Tagbilaran is scheduled on the 31st of May 2007. It will not
only showcase the Santacruzan as one of the many beautiful
church and community activities that could remind the people
of Bohol's rich cultural and religious tradition but it also
serves as an avenue for the club to raise funds for its various
undertakings which are mostly aimed at eradicating poverty
in the countryside.
