Santacruzan 2007 with

Who has a heart that cares for the least of her sisters and brothers? There seems to be no appropriate answer to this question but one might find an answer while watching Santacruzan 2007.

For many the Santacruzan is just a simple parade of beautiful ladies in equally beautiful and elegant gowns. Many, however, fail to realize that the beautiful sagalas and angels joining the Santacruzan are also rendering a little sacrifice as they walk along the main streets of the City of Tagbilaran for a very noble cause. Some of them might end up with soiled gowns and blistered feet but the desire to finish the Christian walk is always there. People are, therefore, encourage to go out and watch Santacruzan 2007 and see for themselves the beautiful ladies with big hearts that sympathize the least of their brethren.

The activity which is made possible through the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran is scheduled on the 31st of May 2007. It will not only showcase the Santacruzan as one of the many beautiful church and community activities that could remind the people of Bohol's rich cultural and religious tradition but it also serves as an avenue for the club to raise funds for its various undertakings which are mostly aimed at eradicating poverty in the countryside.

Aside from the full support of the members of the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran who are doing the leg works, this year's Santacruzan is being supported by some benevolent Boholanos from her and abroad and as such the Santacruzan will not only feature Boholana beauties but will also feature International beauties as well.

Rose Soy, the reigning Reina Emperatriz of Sanctacruzan 2006, will crown this year's Reina Emperatriz I, Barbara Illi of Alona Vida Beach Resort Bar and Restaurant Coco Vida in Panglao, Bohol and Reina Emperatriz II, Miriam Mc Allaster of Booy, Tagbilaran City.

Chezka Cagulada and Vanessa Kascher, the Reina Elena I and II of Santacruzan 2006 will crown Amira Montero and Nekolai Montero, both of Alona Tropical Resort, Panglao, Bohol, who will be this year's Reina Elena I and II.

The same as last year, Santacruzan 2007 will formally start with a Holy Mass and flower offerings to the Virgin Mother at the Saint Joseph's Cathedral. This will be followed by the Procession of Sagalas and Angels along the main streets of the City of Tagbilaran. The procession will also be fully represented by the members of the Rotary Club in their uniforms and the Village Aide Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

At 7 o'clock in the evening of the same day, the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran, headed by its President, Rtn. Deo Uy, will tender a Dinner and Dance Party dubbed as "Fiesta sa Rotary" at the Sandugo Grand Ballroom of the Bohol Tropics Resort, this city, to honor this year's Sagalas, Angels and the benevolent sponsors.

Bohol's pride, Eva Santos will tender love songs and liven everyone with dance music.
As a lasting remembrance of this year's Santacruzan, the Rotary Club of Tagbilaran will come up with a Souvenir Program that will feature this year's Reina Emperatrizes, Reina Elenas, Sagalas, Angels and most of all the donors, benefactors and sponsors. This year's activity is chaired by Rtn. Louella "Baby" Bantol. Members of this year's Santacruzan Committee include, Rtns: Mildred Kascher, Irena Heberer, Baby Collins, Nila Montero, Dave Collins, Norris Oculam and Vic Bantol.
