Seven out of 47 women now being municipal councilors-elect of the total 94 women candidates in 47 towns and one city are in the top slot of the magic 8 to compose the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) for 2007-2010 term.

Those who made it to the number one slot in SBs are Councilors-elect Elsa N. Mante of San Isidro town (Lakas-CMD); Clarita V. Alesna, Ubay; Rowena J. Painagan, Carmen (Independent; 8,661; Ma.
