BAP warns against
non-accredited gab

The local office of the Basketball Association of the Philippines (BAP) has received reports that a group of individuals based in the eastern part of the province are allegedly soliciting or inviting participants to a basketball officiating licensing seminar to be held sometime in December this year.

The BAP Bohol does not own nor give authority to any person to call or hold any licensing or accreditation clinic or seminar or any similar activity whatsoever.

Furthermore, the source from BAP Bohol said request for accreditation seminar must be channeled through the local representatives of the BAP in order to materialize.

The move to hold the said seminar must have been made by people who want to undermine the BAP Bohol leadership; raise funds for their own personal consumption.

Aspiring and regular members of the BAP throughout the province are warned not to take a grasp on any transactions regarding this matter.

Instead, all neophytes and veteran referees are reminded of the forthcoming accreditation and refreshers' course in basketball officiating on November 16-18 at the UB gym.
