Bulky
power forward Charles Barkley Dano lifted Ponit Chinelas Dagan
(Pochida) past Blue, 80-77 to capture the championship crown
of the 3rd Bohol Wisdom School All Alumni Basketball League
(BWSAABL) Saturday at the BWS gym.
With
a little less than a minute Blue was ahead 77-76 Pochida pressured
their opponents as sweet shooting Mark Rabuya bubbled at the
mid-court upon a double teaming effort as Dano out of nowhere
stole the ball from behind who subsequently drove for the
basket to give his team a hairline margin.

In
their counter offensive play tall boy Shote Tan has
no one to pass to but an opposing Christian Salve who
sank a powerful under the basket shot with 3 ticks to
go to nail the final count, 80-77.
The
game went though evenly as no team led by more than
7 in a quarter as exchanges of arsenals ensued as the
Blues' firepower led by former two time MVP Bj Udtohan,
Ralph Molina, and Rabuya was negated by the equally
accurate marksmanship of the Pochida in Andrei Jayag,
JP Lim, Salve, and Dano.

The
BWSAABL is a tournament from which exclusively participated
in by all alumni of the Bohol Wisdom School including its
current varsity teams, the Vanguards and the Golden Dragons.
It is held every summer and semester breaks.
