Powerhouse Bohol Wisdom School mini Dragons in a show of firepower superiority downed erstwhile archrival Grace Christian Eagles, 68-53 in the resumption of the mini basketball competition of the ongoing 13th Bohol Schools Amateur Athletic Association (BSAAA) 3rd Graham C Lim Basketball Challenge Saturday at the BWS gym.

A solid attack by the mini Dragons in the second quarter spelled the difference in the game as the duo of Rey Magtahas and most improved Kevin Mascariñas ignited a 10-0 blast to run to put their in the driver's seat, 31-19 at lemon time.

The red-hot Romy Balonga salvaged San Isidro High School Monkeys to victory against the undermanned Bohol Wisdom School Vanguards, 68-63 to extend their winning streak to maintain a clean slate at 3-0.

Aside from Balonga, the Monkeys banked on the highly spirited plays of team captain Tata Lagao, and Fred Bustamante. They made more of their offensive plays in the middle as Bigboy Jake Gregorio and tall boy Jules Labisures were nowhere to stop them.

For unknown reason the duo were absent during the game.

Then Kyle Panong held his own against a taller Dong Guday in the fourth in collaboration with Mascariñas and Magtahas. The all game long brilliance of Van Excel Garrote contributed much to the orchestration of the pattern plays to control the momentum of the game.

The 13th BSAAA 3rd Graham C Lim Basketball Challenge is ably supported by Mayor Dan Lim; Petron Philippines; Mr. and Mrs. Gerardo B. Madanguit; SK Chair Bonefir Baguio; Cebu PJ Stars; Mr. and Mrs. Leo B. Madanguit; STY Marketing; Bohol Wisdom School; First Consolidated Bank; Big Topz; Holy Spirit Schoo; Grandma's Purified Water; Bohol Chronicle; DYRD AM/FM; Camilo Torralba; and Bohol Times.
