Deputy mayor Uy files slander vs. city kag. Kapirig

Deputy Mayor Mariano Uy has filed a complaint of slander with damages against City Councilor Edgar Kapirig yesterday.

The complaint was lodged at the Lupong Tagapamayapa of barangay Poblacion 1, this city.

According to Uy, the city councilor "maligned his honor and integrity" when the latter allegedly told several individuals that fund donations for the Botika sa Katawhan were misused by the deputy mayor.
