A
municipal trial court judge was dismissed by the Supreme
Court (SC) for making sexual advances and committing
lascivious acts against two women in a public place.
The
high tribunal, in an en banc ruling, found Judge Manuel
de Castro of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (MCTC)
of Jagna and Garcia-Hernandez, guilty of gross misconduct
and immorality.

18 schools in showdown

The
best drum and bugle corps in the region will clash once
again for the respective crowns in the three categories
of the Alturas Drum & Bugle Corps Showdown 2007,
scheduled at the CPG Sports Complex this coming November
24.
Alturas
PR Manager and Showdown Project Director, Loy M. Palapos,
said that the competition is contested in three categories:
Category A for more seasoned drum corps most of which
are outside Bohol; and Category B and C for high school
and elementary drum corps, respectively.
