PNP applicants to
undergo 'scrutiny'

 

Bohol PNP applicants who wish to join the police force will now undergo a thorough public evaluation and censure before they could be recruited as regular member of the Philippine National Police as revealed by PSSupt Edgardo Casiguran Ingking, CSEE, Bohol Provincial PNP Director.

PInsp Nilo P Branzuela, Admin Officer of Bohol PPO, disclosed that under Napolcom Memorandum Circular No. 2005-002, "Prescribing a Standard Procedure For the Recruitment, Selection and Appointment of PNP Personnel" the City Director/Chief of Police shall publish the list of applicants in public places and local media, if any to encourage the public to report any information relative to the worthiness of the applicant to become a law enforcer.

   

Pursuant to this circular, Ingking released the names of 87 applicants for recruitment in the PNP for scrutiny of the public as to their moral and social standing in their respective municipalities.

For those who have pending complaints or any derogatory information on any of these applicants, he or she is advised to come to the Bohol Police Provincial Office at Camp Dagohoy, this city, for appropriate action.
