Delfin Rollinas Epe passed away last Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the ICU of the Gov. C. Gallares Memorial Hospital.

He suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke in their house in Naawan, Misamis Oriental last December 19, 2007 and was transferred here in Tagbilaran City where he underwent two brain surgeries; he had been in a vegetative state afterwards, until his demise from complications.

Epe, a native of Manga District, this city had a sterling career as an educator. He was once an Elementary Grades teacher in Lila, Bohol, then a vocational school teacher and PMT commandant at the then Bohol School of Arts and Trades (now CVSCAFT), and then at the Maigo School of Arts and Trades in Lanao del Norte where he rose to the ranks to become College Education Supervisor before retirement from government service.

He was first married to the late former Benita Balandra of Lila, Bohol, and had Alfredo, Bernardo, Caroline, Dominic, Edgardo and Francis who are all now married and successful professionally, and then to the former Aida Madriaga-Cabasag who had Bryan, Dennis and Nathalie who are likewise all professionals now. He has 20 grandchildren until his demise. He is also survived by sister Paulina and brother Amado.

His remains now lie in state at the Funeraria Gomez, CPG Ave., North, and will be brought to their residence at the Mansion Site, Cogon District before interment at the Victoria Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 1 pm.
