ENGE
Like
a caged animal on hard ground,
He performed on this circle-in-the-round.
Tossed roses fell on stage
Like peanuts in a monkey's cage.
True
to a circle with no beginning, no end,
He searched the audience in hopes to find a friend,
Who might understand as he kept turning round?
As an actor might feel being laughed at as a clown.
He
wants to face them all at once,
So they can see his eyes,
To know what's in his heart,
When he says, "there's no good-byes".
Now
he performs in venues that he feels,
Will encompass his ideals.
Who is this man, who do you think?
My very good friend, Englebert Humperdinck
POTENTIAL
Potential
is your gift of unlimited possibilities,
So there is no need living life on you knees.
Even if you fall flat on your face,
Potential will allow you to get back in the race.
Never
quit, get back up when you're down,
This act alone can turn your life around.
For
what kind of God would there be,
To grant you potential and a will to be free,
Then give you only a short time on earth,
To develop your potential for all it's worth.
Simply
declare to the Universe, who you are,
Then hold on tight to your rising star.
For built into potential is a natural skill,
All you add is desire and will.
The
most powerful words you can ever say, I AM,
Then trust that the Universe will unfold your plan.
When you act with intent and integrity, you'll see,
That you have the potential to be all you can be.
TO
FEEL GREAT
To
feel great, understand even if misunderstood.
To feel great, feel things deeper than you would.
To feel great, say things softer than you would.
To feel great, do things slower than you would.
To feel great, smile broader than you would.
To feel great, touch gentler than you would.
To feel great, think clearer than you would.
To feel great, listen closer than you would.
To feel great, share more than you would.
To feel great, see farther than you would.
To feel great, I dare that you would.
To feel great, create all that you would.
To feel great, you could if you only would.
