As
the city girds for the annual feast day on Thursday,
May 1, the revelry reaches fever pitch with fiesta events
happening at the Activity Center of Island City Mall.
On
fiesta eve, April 30, a sexy female band from Manila,
Aegies Pink Lilac, will take centerstage at the Activity
Center at 4 PM, while Sparkles, the biggest provider
in Visayas and Mindanao for balloons, kiddie parties
and special effects, will hold a live party show with
kiddie mascots, on feast day, May 1, starting at 1 PM
at the Activity Center.
The much-awaited grand finals of ICM Teen Quest Season
3 will follow at 4 PM at the Activity Center. Twelve
grand questors will compete each other for the major
prizes.

The
questors are Niceville Cagas, Angelica Requirme, Ritchie Mae
Cruspero, Ma. Carey Bato, Parker Bolanio, Christian Dotarot,
Angelo Piquero, Carlo Roy Roslinda, Homer Virtudazo, Luke
Grant Palaca, Judemer Añora, and Gian Frederick Aleria.

The
Teen Quest grand finals will also feature international
ballroom dancer, Jonathan Reyson, a Boholano who had
just performed in Thailand, China, and Singapore. The
acknowledged king of ballroom dancing is set to conduct
a workshop on the arts of dancing at the Activity Center

Screenville Cinemas will also hold the advance screening
of the biggest action-superhero movie event of the year,
"Iron Man," and the premiere showing of Star
Cinema's latest romantic-drama, "When Love Begins,"
on April 30.

May 2 is the first monthly draw of Alturas Supermarket, Plaza
Marcela, Island City Mall and Kris-Lyn Shop n' Dine "Instant
Milyonaryo, Cash Papremyo" 2008 Raffle Promo, 4 PM, at
the Activity Center, featuring the Aegies Pink Lilac band.
This
Saturday, May 3, child wonder Makisig Morales will perform
during the creative arts competition of Kids for Christ at
the Activity Center.
