The
tour is aimed at promoting the group 2 elimination tournament
of the Asian Challenge Cup in Iloilo City next month.
According
to Cebu Football Association (CebuFa) president Richard
Montayre, they are ready to host the Azkals and are
just waiting on the approval waiting on the approval
of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) as well
as head coach Norman Fegidero.
Should
the tour stop push through, the visit would prove to
be historic for Cebu as it has never hosted the RP national
football squad.
