Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) yesterday did not
waste time in approving the release of P13,786,000
financial assistance for rice farmers in the province.

after Gov. Erico Aumentado made an urgent request
for the lawmakers to fund the provincial government's
Rice Accelerated Enhancement Response (RACER)
and the Bohol Seeds Assistance Project (BSAP)

IN FOCUS. Gov. Erico Aumentado was the main
guest during the "888 News Forum"
held at the Bohol Tropics yesterday with 18
visiting journalists from Cebu and Manila. The
forum discussed the various aspects of Bohol
tourism, including the admission that the province
lacks 2,000 rooms. Other guests are DOT Regional
Director Dawnie Roa, Prov'l Tourism Chairman
Peter Dejaresco and Chamber president Norris
