items in the P6.5 million unliquidated cash advances of city officials and employees
should be exposed to the public, vows City Vice Mayor Jose Antonio Veloso.
The
vice mayor's statement came after a privilege speech by city Kag.Oscar Glovasa
during the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) session last Friday which took aim at Veloso
and Kag. Zenaido Rama for singling out the matter of cash advances from the 17
issues raised by the COA in the 2007 audit report of the city government.

true-blooded Boholano has been endorsed as the next Philippines Sports Commission
(PSC) chairman, one of the top sports organizations in the country.

couple of days ago, no less than PSC chairman William "Butcha" Ramirez
wants newly-appointed commissioner Fr. Vicente "Vic" Uy, SVD as his
successor, according to reports from TF-Cebu City. Ramirez has already tendered
his resignation but had been advised to stay his put.
