Gunman
kills ex-guv's former driver A
lone assailant shot and killed a former driver of ex- Bohol Gov. David B. Tirol
in broad daylight right at the office of the former governor, in front of the
University of Bohol along Ma. Clara, st., Thursday afternoon.
The
victim, identified as Henry Calihat, 37, a resident of barangay Libaong, Panglao
was on his way to the second floor of the law office of the former governor when
the unidentified gunman trailed him and shot the victim's head who died on the
spot. He was supposed to attend a court hearing that same day he was gunned down.

Loboc Ambassadors Band: Upcoming musical sensation
The Loboc
Youth Ambassadors Band is the upcoming musical group sensation of Bohol.
Just
a year ago, this group of students from various elementary and high schools in
Loboc that compose the band could hardly play any musical instrument.
Under
the innovative training of Rene Balbin, the training director and conductor of
the band, these students have been transformed into a musical group who can play
a repertoire of classical music, Broadway hits, and local folk songs.
