1st Prov'l Choral
Festival at ICM

The Provincial Government of Bohol, through the Center for Culture & Arts Development (CCAD) and Bohol Arts & Cultural Heritage (BACH) Council, will hold the 1st Provincial Choral Festival at the Island City Mall Activity Center, from February 25 to 28.

   

Be delighted by the harmony of voices as different children and youth choir in Bohol will perform every 4:00 o' clock in the afternoon at the Activity Center in the following schedules: February 25 - Loon South Central Elem. School Children's Choir and Loon Youth Choir; February 26 - Himig Diwa of Holy Name University (HNU), City East Elem. School Children's Choir, and Tagb. City Central Elem. School Children's Choir; February 27 - Batuan Youth Choir, Panglao Children's Choir, and Holy Spirit Choir; and February 28 - UB Grade School Children's Choir, Baclayon Youth Choir, and Garcia-Hernandez Children's Choir.

The first to perform is Loboc Children and Youth Chorale on February 24, but it will be held in another venue as the Activity Center is already booked for the ICM Teen Quest that day.

The 1st Provincial Choral Festival is presented as part of the Grand Summit of the Arts in celebration of the National Arts Month of February. Other schedule of activities include an outreach photo exhibit of the HNU Museum for the whole month of February at DCPNHS main lobby, contest-based music workshop for Grade 4 music teachers last February 8 and 9 at the Meridian Hotel, Visual Arts Workshop last February 11 to 15, content-based music workshop for Grade 5 music teachers last February 15 and 16, and UB Fine Arts Festival "Pinuga sa Huna-Huna" Art Exhibit from February 25 to 29 at the Bohol Cultural Center.

The culmination program of the Grand Summit of the Arts is on February 29 at the Bohol Cultural Center at 4 PM. For inquiries, call the Center for Culture & Arts Development (CCAD) at 411-3946, or 501-9287.
