Cajes: SK nat'l head

Bohol Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) federated head Jane Censoria Cajes was elected president of the SK National Federation last Wednesday at the Marikina Hotel in Manila.
Some 118 SK federated presidents participated in the elections choosing 32 positions of the SK National Federation (SKNF).

The 18-year old Cajes, a daughter of Second District Rep. Roberto Cajes and Trinidad Mayor Judith Cajes, was unopposed for the SKNF's top post.

She is the first SKNF president coming from the Visayas, according to Commissioner Benjie Oliva of the National Youth Commission (NYC).

The new SKNF president will be sitting as a member of the NYC.

Cajes is a student in Advertising at the Assumption College in Makati City. According to reports, she will be taking her oath before President Gloria Arroyo.
