HNU-HS swept awards in
search for outstanding SSG

   
 
  Holy Name University High School Department once again garnered major and significant awards in the recently concluded Search for Outstanding Supreme Student Government sponsored by the Department of Education, City Division. Supreme Student Government HNU-HS won three major awards.

Asuncion P. Pabalan, M.A, was awarded as The Most Outstanding Supreme Student Government Adviser for this school year because of her
exemplary performance. She is a Social Studies Coordinator of the said department and a part-time instructor in the College of Arts and Science. Presently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies and in fact she will take comprehensive examination next month.

Sanie Joel V. Cagoco, a senior student who belongs to the Cream of the Crop section was also awarded as Most Outstanding SSG President. He is a consistent honor student and student-leader since his elementary years. Likewise, he was also awarded as Most Outstanding Boy Scout of the Province of Bohol.

   

The whole Supreme Student Government of Holy name University-High School Department was also declared as the Most Outstanding Organization. The group is composed of Sanie Cagoco (President), Bethany Dalmao (Vice-President), Gace Cielo Tumale (Executive Secretary), Isa Mariah Sarabosing, Jervis Verturfo and Iam Sendrijas ($th year Representatives), Archenee Nina Gallur, Michelle Vallejos and Josie Ranis (3rd Year Representatives) Lynn Olive Tabigue, Charise Baja, and Gay Josephine Valles (2nd Year Representatives) and Jennifer Winters, Catherine Gementiza and Charisse Echavez (1st Year Representatives).

This Supreme Student Government of Holy name University-High School Department is fully supported by Remedios U. Cardino-HS principal and Prisciano Legitimas-Day HS Assistant Principal. The winners will represent City Division in the Regional finals which will be held at Cebu City early next month.

Indeed, this result manifested that Holy Name University High School Department continues to live the Tradition of Excellence in all fields. Congratulations! (Marlon Salarda Jala, M.A)


  PLACENTA BEAUTIES. Mary Catherine Meguillo student of HNU was awarded as Ms. New Placenta and Angie Esguerra also of HNU was awarded as Ms. Olive - C during the search for a date with Matt "Pedro Penduko" Evans last Feb. 14, at the HNU Main gym. The event was sponsored by Holy Name University; Central Student Gov't headed by David Maulas; Psalmstre Ent. Inc. the company behind the New Placenta, Olive - C, Livermin & Vitaginseng, Bohol Chronicle and David Salon. Special thanks to the hosts; Daryll Louie La Fuente and Marge Moncano.
