2 Bohol tankers compete
in 2008 national PRISAA

 

Two promising swimmers from the beautiful island province of Bohol formed part the composition of the Central Visayas swimming squad to the 2008 Private Schools Athletic Association next month in Zamboanga City.

   

Reports reaching the Chronicle showed that lady swimmers Maria Joy Delusa and Janith Belano made it to the University of San Carlos-led CV line-up. USC swimmers took half of the slots available for the Zamboanga outing.

Among the USC qualifiers are Dec Rowan Fernandez, Alexander Echavez, Jed Fernandez and Joseph Joy Ababon in the men's division with Katrina Rubi, Clanel Celerio, Gwencent Canada and Kruzette Solijon for the women's side.

University of Cebu (UC) are represented by Diane Cañeda and Michael David Vega while Cebu Doctors' University had one in Kasey Kho.

From Dumaguete City are Zoe Emilia Menguito, Margareth Chiong Hywell Ramacho, Jason Bilangdal and Julius Cristi.

The local swimmers are honing up further their skills at the CPG Sports Complex pool in time for the forthcoming national competition. (mpb)
