Tourney awaits
Bai trainees

The Bai Cristobal Summer Basketball Camp in its sincerest effort to build up its participants will monitor its progress. And one of the ways is to hold a basketball tournament from among themselves immediately after the clinic. They will be made to compete against each other.

The participants will be grouped according to their abilities and level. They will play a single round robin series. Medals will be awarded to the winners by the chief trainer, Bai Cristobal.

The training camp which is slated April 7-13 at the PMI gym will hold two sessions, for those aged 12 and under in the morning and for those who are 13 and up will be in the afternoon.

In order to give ample time for the organizers to finalize its preparations, the last day of the registration of prospective participants have been set on Friday, April 5. Free t-shirts and balls will be given.

The 6th Bai Cristobal Summer Basketball Camp the only basketball camp which advocates its training through Christian virtues and values consequently molds the young boys and girls to become good leaders of the future aside from preparing them to become basketball players has gained more support from the Boholanos because of the way Bai Cristobal, the chief trainer, and the entirety of his assistants handle the trainees/participants.

A bunch of equally qualified local coaches and trainers who are known to have their hearts to young kids will assist Cristobal, as follows, Lawi Galinato, a former UV Green Lancer and now a commercial coach; Tatang Legitimas, a former BIT Super Cruiser and now coach of the BIT IC Super Cruisers; Many time MVP, Gerwin Cabalit, a former BIT Super Cruiser and now coach of the BWS Golden Dragons; Victor Tesorero, a former UB Baby Lemur and now BAP referee; Gary Cabalit, a former standout of many local tournaments and now BAP referee; Rustico Pitao, a former UB Flying Lemur and now coach of the BIT Jr Cruiser; and Abe Galinato, a standout of the National Basketball Conference (NBC).

The registration fee is pegged at P1,200 only.
