DOT Sec. Durano at
"Peacock" opening

Tourism Secretary Ace Durano will arrive here on Friday to lead dignitaries during the opening of The Peacock Garden Luxury Resort & Spa, nestled on a hilltop in historic Baclayon town.

Sec. Durano will be joined by Rep. Edgar Chatto, chairman of the House committee on tourism and Gov. Erico Aumentado during the grand opening rites set 3 p.m. this Friday.

NEWEST RESORT. This is the imposing front view of The Peacock Garden Resort & Spa, an elegant resort at the hilltop of barangay Laya, Baclayon town overlooking the scenic Pamilacan Island.

The resort owned by Hans & Lani Schoof will be the latest addition to the high-end resorts in the province.

Peacock Garden provides a breathtaking view of the sea facing Pamilcan Island, the islet famous for dolphin watching. Its well appointed 40 rooms assures an elegant stay as the peacock epitomizes the resort's distinct take on "East meets West." European art and interiors meets Filipino warmth and hospitality.

Peacock Garden provides the first "fine dining" experience here with its German chef who can assure every dinner of an excellent dining experience.

A huge terrace provides dinners a relaxing panoramic view with an eternity pool overlooking the blue seas of Pamilacan.

The resort's Roman Spa is set to open by year end.
