Cecilia
Rebosura, the lady chief executive of Antequera who
has priorities on the youth and sports, inducted into
office the newly appointed municipal commissioners of
the Basketball Association of the Philippines - Bohol
(BAP-Bohol) Saturday, December 29 at the JJ's Seafoods
Village.
The
inductees included Jose Barrera-Antequera; Florencio
Balazuela-Maribojoc; Dindo Magalona-Catigbian; Rafael

Butcon,
Jr. - Alicia; Rene Sistona-Candijay; Dennes Magalona-Pitogo;
Feliciano Gallentes-Garcia Hernandez; Gregorio Cirunay; and
Christopher Dolera-Tubigon.

The
lady mayor in her inspiring message stressed "the
importance of the youth and sports and call upon the
newly appointed municipal commissioners to do their
share in the grassroots development of the game and
of the youth. The task of developing the youth and the
sports maybe incumbent upon a governmental entity but
there would be a more effective implementation of the
program if all sectors would work hand in hand."
Furthermore,
she emphasized, "you should not stopped from here,
you should aim high at achieving what you have been
tasked. You should not be paper officials of the BAP
only."
In
attendance of the said induction were other members
of the BAP Alejandrino Salomon; Pollynetto Dilao; and
provincial commissioner Rodolfo Bas Madanguit.

Other
appointees who did not make it to the oath taking ceremonies
were Municipal Commissioners: Vice Mayor Jonathan Reyes -
San Miguel; George Avenido - Talibon; Ruel Balonga - Trinidad;
Renato Polimar - Ubay; Councilor Eddie Ybañez-Mabini;
Donato Lumacang, Jr.-Anda; Valentino Galolo-Jagna; Gil Jun
Legitimas-Dimiao; Alnico Ancog-Bilar; Councilor Aries Polinar-Batuan;
William Butron-Pilar; Councilor Ignacio Castil, Jr.-Loon;
Rodolfo Cubelo-Calape; Bgy Kag. Ambrosio Suquillo, Jr.
Immediately
thereafter the inductees held a brief meeting to launch the
Bohol Basketball Association (BBA) on February this year.
