Fifteen members of the Lubas sa Dagang Bisaya, Inc. (Ludabi), Metro Tagbilaran-Bohol and Catigbian Chapters are slated to attend the 51st Ludabi national convention on Jan. 19 at Casino Espanol, Cebu City.

The delegates from the Metro Tagbilaran-Bohol Chapter will be headed by Chapter President Carmencita Arcay while the delegates from the Catigbian will be led by Chapter President, Kagawad Avelino Quiwag.

   

Convention Director Jay Arleigh Sitoy will open the Ludabi national convention in the morning.

A "class demo" on the Bisayan language to be handled by Engr. Jes B. Tirol, Ludabi national adviser, will follow.

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña will give his message in the afternoon.

New members will be inducted while the new officers of the national Ludabi will be elected.


Situationer reports on the Bisayan langue will be made by representatives from the provinces of Bohol, Leyte and Bukidnon, and the cities of Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Surigao and Butuan.

In the evening, Cebu Gov. Gwen Garcia will give her message.

The search for the Miss Ludabi 2008 and the "Bangga sa Balak" will follow.
