Hoop trainees to cagedom

 

The Bai Cristobal Summer Basketball Camp which is set to start another season on March 31 to April 4 is the only training camp which trains its participants, the Christian way.

Aside from training the young kids the fundamentals of basketball, the camp likewise teaches them the virtue of life and molds them to become God Loving and God fearing citizens.

Former superstar of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and now national coach, Arturo "Bai" Cristobal, the chief trainer of the camp will be here to personally conduct the training of the participants.

Among others, Bai will inculcate upon the trainees the four priorities in life as follows: God, Family, Education, and Basketball.

Now on its 6th edition, the Bai Cristobal Basketball Camp has accumulated in its list youthful and potentials that have made waves in the local cagedom and elsewhere.

    These players have carved a name of their own in the local world of basketball. Among them are as follows: Don Jay Dejaresco of University of Perpetual Help of Rizal who is making waves at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); Cholo Uy, Victor de Castro, Mark Matutes, Don Niko Cabagnot, Ian Atienza, Kelvin Abarado, Vincent Atup, and Joseph Ray Ibal of the Bohol Wisdom School Golden Dragons, defending champions of the Bohol Schools Amateur Athletic Association (BSAAA); Galaura brothers, Makmak and Kent of the Bohol Institute of Technology International College Jr Cruisers; Kyle Madanguit of Holy Spirit School; Kim Biliran, Chris Atup, Alfonso Uy, Other notable alumni of the camp were: J.P Lim; Christian Racho; Vj Racho; Auco Aligam; and Josh Dominise.

The Bai Cristobal Summer Basketball Camp will have two sessions. The morning session which are intended for those aged 12 years old and under; and in the afternoon for those aged 13 years old and above.

The registration is pegged at Php1,200 only with free balls and T-shirts.
