Bai holds two
camps in summer

The 6th Bai Cristobal Summer Basketball Camp, the only basketball camp which advocates its training through Christian virtues and values of a growing young kid to become God- loving and God-fearing individuals will hold two training camps this summer.

One will be held from March 31 to April 6 and the other one is set from May 12 to 18 this year.

Former superstar of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Arturo "Bai" Cristobal, the chief trainer of the camp, made this announcement in order to accommodate all enthusiastic young aspirants to join the said camp.

Bai said, he purposely set another date because the camp accepts but on limited slots, first come first served basis.

The organizers of the camp welcome the idea so as to enable all other parties participate in this one-of-a-kind basketball training camp.

Furthermore, it is believed that the holding of a 2nd camp this summer is a manifestation of the love of the former PBA superstar for Bohol. As he said during the first edition of the camp "Bohol is nice place to stay. People are friendly and peace loving. How I wish to live here for good".

Aside from Bai, other noted personalities in local basketball have been tapped to assist in the training camp, as follows: Lawi Galinato, a former UV Green Lancer and now a commercial coach; Tatang Legitimas, a former BIT Super Cruiser and now coach of the BIT Super Cruisers; Many time MVP, Gerwin Cabalit, a former BIT Super Cruiser and now coach of the BWS Golden Dragons; Victor Tesorero, a former UB Baby Lemur and now a BAP referee; Gary Cabalit, a former standout of many local tournaments and now BAP referee; Rustico Pitao, a former UB Flying Lemur and now coach of the BIT Jr Cruiser; and Abe Galinato, a standout of the National Basketball Conference (NBC).

The registration fee is pegged at Php1,200 only with free T-shirts and balls. Limited slots are accepted in order to personalize the training.
