ENGE
Like
a caged animal on hard ground,
He performed on this circle-in-the-round.
Tossed roses fell on stage
Like peanuts in a monkey's cage.
True
to a circle with no beginning, no end,
He searched the audience in hopes to find a friend,
Who might understand as he kept turning round?
As an actor might feel being laughed at as a clown.
He
wants to face them all at once,
So they can see his eyes,
To know what's in his heart,
When he says, "there's no good-byes".
Now
he performs in venues that he feels,
Will encompass his ideals.
Who is this man, who do you think?
My very good friend, Englebert Humperdinck
HAPPINESS
Most
people assume there's a mysterious how,
To experience happiness in the now,
By living each moment you'll feel,
A shift in vibration makes it real.
Happiness is not something you earn,
It's your birthright; it's your turn,
To be happy for no reason at all,
You are the boss; it's your call.
You deserve happiness because you exist,
You have that right, just insist.
By acting happy in the moment now,
The Universe will support you, somehow.
Since
cause and effect are the same events,
It works both ways, torn, twisted or bent.
Create the effects first, then you'll see,
The causes rush in to fill the vacancy.
Happiness
is a state of mind you create,
Instantly, now, with no hesitate.
You've learned to see things only one way,
Which makes it difficult to change today.
Just
imagine the joy your life can be,
To create happiness instantaneously,
To smile and laugh so others may see,
Another way they can also choose to be.
So,
if you're not happy at this time,
Just remember these words of rhyme,
To be happy requires no mysterious how,
The secret to happiness is living in the now.
