Former WBC light flyweight champion Brian Viloria won an eight-round unanimous decision over Jose Garcia Bernal at the Alameda Swap Meet in Los Angeles, California yesterday.

The three judges of the fight all scored 78-72 in favor of Viloria, dubbed as the "Hawaiian Punch."

Bernal was knocked down in round eight with a body shot by Viloria. Bernal was also deducted a point for spitting out his mouthpiece in the same round.

The fight was in the super flyweight category.

According to Web site philboxing.com, Viloria's record will now improve to 20 wins and two losses, while Bernal's record slides to 26 wins, 11 losses, and one draw.
