The latest
round of fuel-price increase finally made a blowing effect on both land and sea
transport businesses in the province.
A
survey showed that about 40 per cent of the multicab operators and drivers based
in the city decided to stop plying their routes after the latest oil price adjustments
which escalated the gasoline price to P62/liter as of 12 midnight yesterday. FULL

their fares to Cebu by almost 70% while reducing the daily trips in order to save
