As one of the oldest
newspapers in the country The Bohol Chronicle turned 54 years old last May. It
was a fitting gift to note that it is now the 11th most visited newspaper digital
and on-line website in the country.
This
was based on documented hits gathered by mediati.com who monitored the website
visits of 31 newspapers in the country during the last six months - December 2007
to May 2008.
The
Bohol Chronicle, founded and first edited by the late media patriarch Zoilo Dejaresco
Jr., has come out on print - without interruption except for one week immediately
following the declaration of Martial Law in 1972. It is now published every Wednesday
and Sunday.
