The
championship round of the Dao Commercial/inter-Purok Basketball League opens tomorrow
with the start of the best-of-three series between the University of Bohol Flying
Lemures and Philippine Maritime Institute at the Dao hardcourt, this city.
The
summer spectacle popularly known as the Gov. Erico Boyles Aumentado Cup attracted
at least six leading varsity and community-based teams here.
Providing
the preliminary fireworks start at 4 p.m. tomorrow are the championship games
in the super senior division between Purok II and Purok III while Purok I tangles
with Purok III in the senior division. Disputing the midget level title are Purok
I and Purok II later this week, while the tussle in the junior division has been
deferred due to a pending protest.
