nonpareil Sampson "Picasso" Lewkowicz is wrapping up one of his greatest
masterpieces to-date-the Banal-Concepcion rivalry for the World Boxing Association
super flyweight title on July 26.
This
according to CDN correspondent Salven Lagumbay.
In
an electronic message sent to ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer, Lewkowicz
announced his arrival in Panama Monday to ink the deal in the presence of WBA
president and executive director Gilberto Jesus Mendoza Jr. and other officials

The warrior's luck
rang for reigning WBO Youth super flyweight champion and WBA No. 3 World super
flyweight contender AJ "Bazooka" Banal as fortune dropped off WBA super
flyweight king Alexander Muñoz with a loss to WBC super flyweight defending
champion Christian Mijares for the WBA-WBC titles on May 17.
With
WBA No. 1 superfly Nobou Nashiro not available after his fight n March, and No.
2 Kuhei Kono after his championship win in February, to bid for the top post,
he became the available next-in-line contender to take on the vacated title contested
by No. 5 Rafael "Little Bull" Concepcion. | A
true soldier of boxing, Lewkowicz is famous for his efficiency in created exciting
matches in the history of boxing.
That
includes the 3-minute deal he closed for the 53rd, and as it turned out later
the final, professional fight of Evander "The Real Deal" Holy field
against WBO heavy weight champion Sultan Ibragimov for the WBO title in October
last year. In February 2007, he figured out for his masterly work for the "Moment
