med, dental services
By KIRBY LOMUNTAD

Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity and Sorority (APO) Midwest - Chicago Alumni Association will be conducting its first Medical and Dental Service Mission Project in Bohol, Philippines starting tomorrow until Wednesday.

The humanitarian service will be held in the towns of Loon (Monday), Panglao (Tuesday), and Danao (Wednesday).

Especially participating the affair are delegates from APO Midwest-Chicago - Pet Ramos (president) and wife Marielle Ramos, Edwin Marquez (chairman), wife Joyce Marquez and son Justin Marquez, Bernie Castillo, Dr. Rey Pezquira, Manny Echano, Frances Echano, and Fiona Echano, Nonie Ramos and Dolly Ramos.

The main objective of the service mission project is to provide medical and dental services and assistance to our less fortunate bothers and sisters in the Province of Bohol.

With the help of volunteer doctors, nurses and dentists, APO Midwest- Chicago Alumni Association will provide free medical consultation on cough, colds, high blood pressure; and free vitamins and medicines like antibiotics, analgesics and many others.

APO will also provide free tooth extraction procedures and dental medicine.

Unutilized medicines and supplies will be donated to either the provincial health office or the respective towns.

Sincerest gratitude to APO-Bohol fraternity brothers and chapters who made this special project possible: Bohol Vice Gov. Julius Herrera, Danao Mayor Thomas Gonzaga and APO-Alumni Association of Bohol headed by its president Sammy Racho and supported by Atty. Liberato Casilan, Ryard Paig and Gloria Caminero, APO-Holy Name University Petitioning Chapter and APO-Zeta Beta Chapter.
