time for the opening of a new school year on Tuesday, the Holy Name University
(HNU) College of Law has embarked on a massive development of its academic discipline
and facilities.
Atty.
Tomas Abapo Jr., HNU Law dean, disclosed that aside from its rich academic curriculum,
the study program and academic discipline will be intensified by assessing the
legal proficiency of first year law students, enhancing the legal practicum and
internship as well as the holding of mock bars.
Starting
this semester, Abapo, who is also the provincial administrator, said the honors
program and academic scholarship will also be implemented.

semester, the HNU Law Center was opened as the research and extension arm of the
HNU College of Law. Atty. Rene Paredes, HNU Law assistant dean, is the HNU Law
Center director.
A
moot court is also constructed for practice court aside from the air-conditioned
classrooms, well-equipped and updated law library and on-line and wed-based legal
research.
HNU
College of Law has been rated as among the top law schools in the country and
is an active member of the Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS). |
