Judge urged to resolve
city realty tax increase

 

After almost a year of waiting, the class suit filed against four city officials for increasing real property taxes has finally been assigned a presiding judge at the Regional Trial Court (RTC).

Named respondents of the complaint are Mayor Dan Lim, City Administrator Walter Toston, City Assessor Erlinda Samonte, City Treasurer Visitacion Acero and the city's tax collection agents.FULL STORY
