Dao
summer cagefest starts tom'row The
yearly Dao Open Commercial/Inter-Purok basketball league rolls-off tomorrow at
the Dao district hardcourt with countless fans in attendance.
The
summer sports spectacle dubbed as "Gov. Erico B. Aumentado Cup" offers
its first action-packed games right after the simple opening program led by lawyer
Tommy Abapo, representing the sports-loving provincial governor and followed by
drawing of lots.

inter-purok level, however, fired off last March 18 prior to the post-Easter Sunday
celebration. Going for top honors are teams from the midget, junior, senior and
super-senior division.
A
pre-tournament briefing has been set at 7:30 p.m. today at the Dao barangay hall
in time for the deadline of the submission of entries.
Dao
punong barangay Atoy Cosap, council members and league officials will join the
provincial administrator in the ceremonial opening of the games. |
The Poblacion
I - initiated summer cagefest extravaganza popularly known as Cong. Edgar M. Chatto
Cup, highlighted its opening during the Easter Sunday festivity at the OLTA Kolodrome.
Closely coordinating the annual presentation is the Old Tagbilaran Neighborhood
