2 vie IBP presidency

The election of officers of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) - Bohol Chapter on Saturday will emerge as one of the most remarkable race as top positions of the chapter will all be hotly contested among legal practitioners in the province.

BOISER, ESTRERA

According to reports within the legal circles, probable contenders for the IBP-Bohol presidency are Atty. Mitchell John "Boloy" Boiser and retired asst. provincial prosecutor Joselito Estrera.

Atty. Boiser, the incumbent secretary of the chapter and a professor of law at the Holy Name University, leads a slate of equally young and independent-minded lawyers.

Estrera retired from government service in 2006. He is the incumbent vice president of the local IBP chapter.

The IBP-Bohol elections will be preceded by a general assembly which will start at 8:30 in the morning.
